Tempura

Tempura: a Japanese food

Tempura is very famous and popular in Japan. It is deep fried sea foods or vegetables in a flour batter. It is really liked by all generations of Japanese people.
Tempura has been eaten since the Nara era. It means Tempura has a history that is over 1,000 years old. The word, Tempura, came from Portuguese. In Portuguese, Temperar means make it hard using oil although there are some varying opinions about the origin of this word.
These days, there are a lot of types of tempura in Japan. For example, Ice cream tempura, apple tempura and pram tempura. These are strange. However, I have eaten ice cream tempura and it is good. To my surprise, ice cream doesn’t melt. It's so amazing! I think it is a revolution of Tempura!! I love it. And my friends love it also.
Tempura is very delicious Japanese food!! But it is fried, so it is not healthy if we eat too much. We should eat it moderately….. It's your decision whether you eat an Ice cream Tempura for dessert after you eat a shrimp Tempura or not. Anyway, Tempura tastes terrific!!!

Thank you for reading my writing. Misa and Su-Su, my friends, are also researched about Japanese food. So I recommend you to read these!!
