Jishin-Gumo

Jishin-Gumo
Last year, the big earthquake hit Japan. It was a great damage for Japan. Especially Tsunami and the accident of nu-clear power plant were so big damage.
I wonder if we can know the earthquake will happen or not in advance.
To tell the trueth, there are some methods to predict that. For example, animals predict it, like Namazu and Dojo move a lot before the earthquake happens. And dogs howl and so on.
There is another prediction that is the clouds. We can predict the earthquake will happen or not by watching the clouds. It is called Jishin-Gumo in Japanese.
But Jishin-Gumo has a feature. It won't move even if the wind blows. And we can see it for a long time at the same place.
If you see such clouds, it ispossible to happen the earthquake soon Be careful.

Tempura

Tempura: a Japanese food

Tempura is very famous and popular in Japan. It is deep fried sea foods or vegetables in a flour batter. It is really liked by all generations of Japanese people.
Tempura has been eaten since the Nara era. It means Tempura has a history that is over 1,000 years old. The word, Tempura, came from Portuguese. In Portuguese, Temperar means make it hard using oil although there are some varying opinions about the origin of this word.
These days, there are a lot of types of tempura in Japan. For example, Ice cream tempura, apple tempura and pram tempura. These are strange. However, I have eaten ice cream tempura and it is good. To my surprise, ice cream doesn’t melt. It's so amazing! I think it is a revolution of Tempura!! I love it. And my friends love it also.
Tempura is very delicious Japanese food!! But it is fried, so it is not healthy if we eat too much. We should eat it moderately….. It's your decision whether you eat an Ice cream Tempura for dessert after you eat a shrimp Tempura or not. Anyway, Tempura tastes terrific!!!

Thank you for reading my writing. Misa and Su-Su, my friends, are also researched about Japanese food. So I recommend you to read these!!

Katsuki's Favorite person

    I interviewed with Katsuki.
The person he likes is Atsuko Maeda. She is one of AKB48 members and the most popular member in AKB. AKB48 is Japanese top idle group. Nowadays, we can't tell today's Japanese pop music without this group.
First, I would like to write the reason why he chose Atsuko. He said, "Because I resemble her." This is the reason why he likes this person but I never agree with that!!lol
Second, I asked him what is your best song in AKB48? He answerd, "I like Heavy Rotation. Because this song is Max high tention!!!" I agree with that!!! I like this song too! Because this is Max high tention!
Finally, I asked him do you like her soro song "Flower"? I thought he says "Of course I like!!" But answer was "No." I surpriseed at that. He dosen't like her soro song because he like Atsuko as the member of AKB48. I understood that.

Soft tennis

Do you know soft tennis?? It differs from regular tennis and it's not as famous as regular tennis. This type of tennis uses soft rubber balls instead of hard yellow balls but the other points are almost same. It was created in Japan in the 19 century.  And it's played primarily in Asia especially in Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand and the Philippines. These days, there are about 600 thousand of registered players and 7 million soft tennis fans in Japan. Recently, there are some activities to promote it to all over the world.
I have played soft tennis since I was a junior high school student. So I have been playing soft tennis for 9 years. And I used to belong to the soft tennis club in my university. I just finished the club activity in August 2011, but I sometimes practice it and have some games much even though I am retired.
I like soft tennis!! But it is not a very famous sport yet. I hope it is going to be more famous one because soft tennis is so fun and very easy to play. It is not only for adults but also for children. I want many people to know this sport.
Thank you.
